My Biography
Adolfo Sellitto, born in 1988, has been a professional chef since 2007 and boasts prestigious collaborations in the Italian restaurant world.
He reports in his curriculum vitae qualifications and master’s degrees with high-level scores.
Since 2018, he has been working as a private chef for villas and high-level facilities, guaranteeing his utmost professionalism and a staff at the service of the best clients.

Damon Kimble09/08/2024Chef Adolfo and his dishes were incredible! For 2.5 days He prepared meals for my family of 7 and it was the highlight of our Italian vacation. Chef Adolfo was incredibly easy to communicate with planning our meals, was punctual each day and my wife, kids and extended family enjoyed speaking with him daily on his preparation techniques, how to prepare their favorite meals back home and just sharing family stories. He truly became a part of our family for the several days we were with him. His meals were delicious, flavorful and I would recommend Chef Adolfo to anyone looking for a private Chef and anyone looking for incredible meals.Lee Farrer13/06/2024Our family had Chef Adolfo for an evening for a private meal and it was amazing. Chef was very accommodating for dietary restrictions (celiac, gluten free, pork) and was easy to communicate with beforehand. Chef was very polite, timely, and of course the food was very fresh and delicious! Chef communicated with us prior to the lunch to ensure that we had the menu we wanted ( several guests do not eat seafood). He and his assistant arrived on time and got right to work. There were 17 people in our party and they not only prepared and served everything but also set the table and cleaned up after our dinner. The food was fresh, local and delicious!Emily Daniels23/05/2024I do not have enough great things to say about Adolfo! We booked him for a private dinner at our AirBnB for the evening of our elopement. He created the “wedding reception” of our dreams. First, we experienced a mini emergency earlier in the day when we realized the string lights we had shipped to Positano would not work. We were relying on the string lights to hang on the terrace to be able to take outdoor photos during the dinner. Desperate, I reached out to Adolfo, who happened to be in Naples (it’s impossible to find string lights in Positano!) He went on the hunt to find the most perfect string lights, and also the last bottle of Veuve at the liquor store! He truly saved the day. When we returned to the AirBnB after our sunset boat ride, we were so surprised to find that Adolfo and our host had took it upon themselves to hang the string lights (I don’t know how we thought we would’ve had time to do that—it definitely wouldn’t have looked as nice with me and my husband quickly trying to hang them in our wedding outfits). He also set up the dining table so beautifully and assembled and filled our champagne tower, all of this was not his job but he did it out of the care in his heart. Everything Adolfo served was pure perfection. Two bread appetizers, the best prosciutto I’ve ever had, the most incredible truffle ravioli, and a delicious filet mignon to top it off. The lemon dessert was a Positano classic and very good! We loved that Adolfo took the time to explain each dish and its ingredients in detail. He also gave us a lesson in making ravioli which will be very cute in our wedding video! Adolfo cleaned up the entire kitchen before he left. He was so professional and kind. I cannot stress this enough—book Adolfo during your time in Positano. His food is better than every restaurant we tried there. We wish we would’ve booked him for multiple nights, but it’ll just give us something to look forward to when we return. We hope Adolfo will take us up on our offer to stay with us in DC anytime! We hired him for a private meal for a birthday party and he was very accommodating with the menu and flexible in meeting the tastes of the guests. He also went out of his way to recognize the birthday with candles and a great dessert. He was prompt and the meal was delicious and delivered exactly on time.
